Josh, Beca, and I decided to get away before Josh's school started. So we traveled the pacific ocean. It took use about two hours to get to the Silver Sands motel. The motel we got was exactly what we wanted. We got an ocean front room for 77.76. very cheap and the rooms are very nice, small, but very nice. The weather was prefect it warm enough to play outside on the beach then come back in to the hotel to the warm pool. Beca went for her 1st swim. She is a natural. Josh would hold her stomach and she would kick and kick and kick. She had so much fun she didn't want to get out. She almost played through one of her naps.
We also walked around the little town of Rockaway Beach. It is a very small little town but amazing enough there was three fudge shops. We found a couple of shops that were very fun to look at. One was a tourist shop that had everything that you could think of. And there was a very expensive thrift shop. i think the name of it was trash and treasures. That store was one of my favorites. It was set up as an antique shop, quite and gotty, but it was full
of DI stuff, very fun.

We have yet to go to the beach in Portland. Someday.... It looked like fun!
